When running the installation I get the following message: "Computer has been protected by Windows (Microsoft Defender Smartscreen)".
Do not worry it is not malware in any form.
Microsoft Defender detects that Video Alarm wants to establish an Internet connection during operation. For this reason, a warning message appears, because Defender cannot distinguish what type of connection it is. The program does not load any additional modules or any kind of malware , malware or adware. It can therefore be used without hesitation.

What is offline notification?
With Offline Notification, you will receive emails when new videos are uploaded or livestreams are started. Unlike the normal email notification, you will receive emails even if your PC is turned off or Video Alarm is not running. This is ideal if you are on the road but still want to stay informed.
It is best to choose either the normal email notification or the offline notification. If you have both activated, it is possible that you will receive emails twice.
If you have activated the offline notifications, you have to start the video alarm at least once every 10 days, otherwise the alarms will be deactivated automatically.
