In Video Alarm you can set include and exclude filters.

Include means: you will be notified only if the new video or livestream has one of the specified keywords in the title. Example:

Imagine you have added a channel that mainly deals with crypto coins. But since you are not interested in all coins, you add Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and Cardano to the include list. You will then only be notified when the new video or livestream deals with these coins.

Exclude means: you can exclude certain keywords. You will then not get a notification when the new video is about this topic. Here is an example as well:

Let’s take the example of the crypto coin channel again. Generally, you are interested in all videos and livestreams of the channel, only very specific coins do not interest you. In this case, you add, for example, the coins Shiba, Solana, TRON and XRP to the exclude list. You will not receive any notification about these videos.

You can also combine both lists. For example:

You are interested in videos about Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and Cardano but not about mining. In this case, you enter the coins as an include filter and the word mining as an exclude filter. Then you will not receive a message if the video is about mining even if it is about Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin or Cardano.

If both lists are empty you will always be notified.

With the include and exclude filters, you can control exactly when and for which videos or live streams you receive notifications.
